Bill Gatlin

Unlicensed Funeral Assistant (retired)

Mr. Bill Gatlin, unlicensed funeral assistant, retired from the U. S. Postal Service, and joined our staff in 2003. He and his wife Pat attend the Covington Church of Christ, and over the years has served on the boards of the Exchange Club and the Exchange Club - Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.  For the last two decades, Mr. Gatlin has helped us when we have had funeral services scheduled, or when we needed an extra hand around the funeral home, and has operated our sound system during the Christmas program every year. His dedication to his faith and his community is unheralded.  He retired from funeral service in 2023, but still comes to visit with us at the funeral home from time to time.
