Sandra Melton

Receptionist/Hostess (retired)

Sandra Melton was born and raised in Tipton County. She is the daughter of the late Sanford Gatlin and Dorothy Walton Gatlin McDaniel and is a graduate of Byars Hall High School in Covington. She was married to the late Vernon Ferrell Melton and has four children and four grandchildren. She is a 35 year member of the First Assembly of God Church in Memphis and makes her home in Covington. Sandra brings to us 21 years funeral home experience working at both Forest Hill Funeral Homes and Memorial Park Funeral Home in Memphis. She served those firms as both a receptionist, hostess, and as a Family Service Aftercare provider. Mrs. Melton retired in 2013 and is recognized as a founding employee of Covington Funeral Home. Sandra passed away in 2017.
