Zakkery McDowell

Zakkery “Beans” McDowell was born on December 20, 2011, to Erica Currie and Marvin McDowell in Covington, Tennessee.  Zakkery attended CIAA and Austin Peay Elementary School.  His best friends are MaKayla, Kendrick, and Ta’Kavion.

To cherish his memory, he leaves his loving parents; his sister, Jaliya McDowell; his special cousin, Brycen Adams; his grandparents, James and Evelyn McDowell, and Bennie and Earline Currie; his aunts and uncles, Katrina Currie, Latonya and Paul Williams, Terrian and Charolette Tipton, Lakesha and Kevin Bell, Quinton and Tiffany Smith, Jennifer and Jeremy Webb, Vincent and Natalia Vuylsteke, Tonya and Roger Huskey, Jamie McDowell, a host of great-aunts and great-uncles, including his very special great-uncle, Stan McDowell, and numerous cousins and friends who love him.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Clarence and Rachel Cresswell, James and Dora McDowell, and Rast and Ethel Currie.

Celebration of life services will be held on Tuesday, September 26th, at 6pm in the chapel of Covington Funeral Home.  Visitation for family and friends will begin at 4pm, until service time at the funeral home.  Cremation services are under the direction of Covington Funeral Home.
