Winston Hahn, 79, of Atoka, passed away on Monday, January 29. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 1 at the Covington Funeral Home with interment with military honors to follow at Morrison's Memorial Cemetery in Brighton. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31 at the funeral home. Mr. Hahn was a retired U. S. Navy CPO having served in Vietnam, retired after 20 years as supervisor at the Naval Support Activity Golf Course in Millington, and a member of the Millington VFW, a member of the American Legion. He was also a member of the Central Baptist church where he sang in the choir and was a member of the Men's Sunday School Class. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lavonne Hahn; two daughters, Stephnie (Melvin) Hahn Watts of Dayton, TX and Linda (Ken) Jones of Hardin, TX; one step-daughter, Jan (Bob) Tate of North Barrington, IL; two step-sons, Dale (Laurie) McClerkin of Brighton and Carey (Renea) McClerkin of Munford; two sisters, Linda (Les) York of Cedar Rapids, IA and Johnette Timms of Brownsville, TX; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and his beloved dog Patches. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leland Claude and Kathleen Hahn; one step-son, Keith McClerkin and one granddaughter, Kara McClerkin.
