William Cook

William "Butch" Cook, 68, of Covington, passed away on Wednesday, April 12 at Magnolia Creek nursing home. Mr. Cook was a retired over the road truck driver. He is survived by one son, Wade Cook (Donna) Martin of Brighton; two daughters, Chandra Cook and Caley Baker, both of Erin, TN; three sisters, Cathy (Buddy) Chandler of Covington, Janice Ferrell of Springville, TN and Cheryl Goode of Trezevant, TN; one brother, Steve Cook of Covington and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie B. and Helen Cook; one son, Brent Lee Cook; one sister, Patricia Stoots and one brother, Mike Cook. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 15 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
