Walter Mullins

Walter Gay Mullins, age 68, passed away at his home in Covington on Wednesday, October 18, 2022. He was an engineering inspector with Askew, Hargraves, Harcourt & Associates, Inc. He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine Mullins; his son, John Gilbert (Emily) Mullins; two step-sons, Johnny Wade and Jimmy Wade; his sister, Suzie (Bobby) German; two sisters-in-law, Beth Mohan and Susan (John) Curtis; one grandson, Deacon Reese Mullins, and four granddaughters, Paisley Wade, Kari Wade, Kristy Wade, and Lainey Wade. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Reese Mullins, and his mother, Sarah Frances Gay Mullins Quinley. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 24, at 1:00 pm at the Covington Funeral Home chapel, with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. Visitation for friends and family will begin two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
