Wade Young

William Wade Young, age 62, of Munford, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Methodist Germantown Hospital. Mr. Wade was an electrician by trade, having worked for over 30 years as a Journeyman with Airways Electric, until they closed. He worked on both residential and major commercial building projects over the years, and with his knowledge, transitioned into sales and supervisory, working for ten years with a fire alarm company, until finally finding a work-home with the FedEx Hub in Memphis. He enjoyed bowling, watching television and movies with his wife, Pam, and when the mood would strike, they would even head off to the casino to try their luck! Mr. Wade was always on the move - staying busy, inspiring others with his work ethic and leading by example. He was a good and kind man, helping others whenever he could, and he will be missed dearly by so many friends, family members, and co-workers. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Pam Turner Young; his son, William Ben Young; his sister, Janice (Robert) Greene; his father, William Joseph Young; his brother-in-law, Bill (Gina) Turner, Sr., and his nieces and nephews, Valerie Schilling, Gary Joe Greene, Leslie Turner, Bill Turner, Tyler Turner, Casey Hull, and Kelley Apel. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Gray Young. Cremation is under the direction of Covington Funeral Home. No services are planned at this time.
