W. D. Knight

W. D. Knight, 75, of Burlison, passed away on Thursday, May 24.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29 at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with interment to follow in Covington Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, May 28 at the funeral home with a rosary service to follow at 6 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.  Mr. Knight is survived by his mother, Cordie Knight of Burlison and two sisters, Kathy (Donald) Pittman of Brighton and Joyce (Mike) Howard of Burlison.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Fay Knight; one son, Tony Knight; his father, Cecil Winford Knight; one sister, Shirley Huggins and one brother, Sanford Knight.
