W. C. Gray

W. C. Gray, 83, of Burlison, passed away on Tuesday, March 20.  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 23 at the Covington Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Charleston Cemetery.   The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.  He was retired from the Rayovac Company having worked in shipping and receiving.  He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Gray; two daughters, Vicky (Roger) Scott of Burlison and Dana (Jay) Evans of Everett, PA; one son, Mark (Sherrie) Gray of Burlison; two sisters,  Cordie Knight of Burlison and Alma Lightfoot of Brighton; one brother, Bobby Gray of Arlington; six grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Myrtle Mashburn Gray; one son, Michael Gray; five brothers, Robert Gray, Tommy Gray, Joe Gray, Wayne Gray and Arzell Gray and two sisters, Lena Kent and Betty Scott.
