Virginia Lee Stafford

Virginia Lee Stafford, 74, of Covington, died in her home on September 12, 2021. She leaves a son, Freddie Stafford Jr. of Brighton; three brothers, J. W. Lawrence, Arnold Lawrence and Dewayne Lawrence; four grandchildren, Jeff (Paige) Stafford of Brighton, Sharee (Danyeall) King of Burlison; Brittany (Cameron) Kidd of Burlison and Austin Stafford of Brighton and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Estelle and Asbury Lawrence, a son, Johnny C. Stafford; four brothers, William Lawrence, A. C. Lawrence, L. P. Lawrence and Orville Lawrence and four sisters, Ruby Osborne, Idora Holcomb,Beulah Greer and Leody Yelvington. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 16 at the Covington Funeral Home with interment to follow in Walton Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
