Venoy Gross

Venoy Gross, 81, of Munford, passed away on Tuesday, December 7. He was a retired glasser and a member of the Beaver Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Margaret A. Gross; three daughters, Rhonda (Mike) Davidson of Clinton, LA, Teresa (Jimmy) Merriman of Mason and Tonya (Roger) Kenney of Drummonds; two sons, Ronald (Carrie) Gross of Central, LA and Bo (Melanie) Gross of Munford; 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Hetti Gross and his siblings, Opal Harchfield, Booker Gross, Roland Gross, Willie Paul Gross, Melvin Gross, Buford Gross, Harold Gross and Troy Gross. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 14 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Campground Cemetery in Munford. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, December 13 at the funeral home.
