Troy Payne

Troy Payne, 81, of Brighton, passed away on Monday, February 4.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 8 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.  Mr. Payne was a retired auto parts salesman and a member of the Beaver Baptist Church.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years. Patsy McCoy Payne; two sons, Jeffrey (Amy) Payne of Brighton and Horace Payne of Anderson, MO; one brother, Fredie Payne of Bloomington, IL; one sister, Bettie Dunkin of Leroy, IL and three grandchildren, Ryan Payne, Maddie Payne and Autumn Payne.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Webster and Syble Eaton Payne and two brothers, James Payne and Joe Payne.
