Timothy Edward Grove

Timothy Edward Grove, known to his loved ones as Tim, passed away on January 16, 2024, in Tipton County, Tennessee, at the age of 57. He was born on February 28, 1966. Tim was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.  Timothy Grove attended Woodland Elementary School and Woodland Middle School in Gages Lake, IL for his primary education, and later graduated from Warren Township High School, Gurnee, IL. In his career, Tim dedicated the past 15 years to Sunshine Mills, Inc., where he held a supervisor role. Prior to that, he worked at Decorator Industries, Inc., in Red Bay, AL, and Wrangler in Hackleburg, AL. Outside of work, Tim had a passion for fishing and playing guitar. His hobbies brought him great joy throughout his life.  Timothy Edward Grove will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.

Tim is survived by his son, Timothy William Grove; his daughter, Madison Nichole Pounders; his step-daughter, Tracy Bradshaw; his sisters Lynne (Warren) Schaefer and Coreena (Dale) Kauffman; his brothers Stephen (Katie) Grove and William (Eileen Yaeger) Grove, as well as his nieces and nephews, Meghan Wolfe, Amber Schaefer, Samantha Schaefer, Zachary Schaefer, Travis Kauffman, Trenton Kauffman, Mitchel Grove, Alyssa Grove, and Sabastian Grove Yaeger. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Rosalee Grove, Anabelle Grove, Kamden Grove, and Auriella Pounders; special family members Lily Deer, Debbie Stephenson, Cynthia Salmon, and close friends, June Holland, Kim Paradise, and Vickie Carlton. Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Grove; his father, Wayne Grove; his half-brother Scott Warren, and his grandparents, Margaret and Steve Warren.

Funeral services for Mr. Tim will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2024 in the chapel of Covington Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Covington.  Visitation for friends and family will be held from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.  Should friends desire, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Timothy Grove, 2065 Garland Detroit Rd., Burlison, TN 38015.
