Timothy Eugene Compton

Timothy Eugene “Bo” Compton, age 53, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at his home. “Timmy” loved the Lord, and was proud to share his faith, and he loved his family immensely. He spent his time listening to music, reading about history, working puzzles, and enjoying the serenity and peace of nature. He also loved the Tennessee Vols. Mr. Compton will be remembered for his love of laughter, and the joy he brought to those who knew and loved him. Timmy leaves behind his parents, Larry and Patsy Compton, of Atoka; his daughter, Hillary Compton, of Bolivar; two sisters, Cindy (Glenn) Delashmit, of Parsons; Dana (Michael) Click, of Brighton; two grandchildren, Aaliyah and Hunter; two nieces; one nephew, and one great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Ruby Compton, John Conway and Ollie Mae Jackson. Services for Mr. Compton will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, November 3, at Covington Funeral Home. Visitation for friends and family will be from 11:00 am until service time on Thursday, and interment will follow the service in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery in Covington.
