Larry Osbourn, Jr.

Thomas Larry Osbourn, Jr., of Munford, passed away suddenly on June 10, 2024, at the age of 55. A beloved mechanical engineer with Cates Laundry Equipment and a dedicated Deacon of Cordova Church of Christ, Larry touched many lives with his compassion and selflessness. He shared scripture from the Bible he carried in his truck and lived as a true servant of the Lord. His love for Christ and his family was evident in every interaction, making a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Larry’s love and dedication were unmatched, and his spirit touched everyone he met. His kindness, wisdom, and strength were the pillars of his family and community. He always had a ready smile, a helping hand, and a heart full of compassion. His legacy of love and service will live on in his family’s hearts forever.

Larry leaves behind his wife, Donna Lauper Osbourn; his daughter and son-in-law, Meghan and Tucker Wallace; his grandchildren, Dierks and Magnolia Wallace; his sister-in-law, Tracy Lauper; his niece and nephew, Amanda Morgan and Wade Morgan; his parents, Larry and Barbara Osbourn, Sr.; his sisters, Kimberly (Leon) Coffelt, Patty (Glen) Broner, and Michelle (Don) Taylor; and many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

We celebrate his life, cherishing the memories and the impact he made on each of us. Larry's unwavering faith and boundless love will continue to guide and inspire us. As Winnie the Pooh wisely said, "How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."

Funeral services for Mr. Larry Osbourn, Jr. will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2024, at Covington Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Quito Cemetery in Millington. Visitation will begin two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Brother Bruce Hatcher will officiate.
