Thomas Lowe, Sr.

Thomas Lowe, Sr., 80, of Burlison, passed away on Thursday, October 5. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 9 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Helen Crigger Cemetery in Munford.   The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 8 at the funeral home.  Mr. Lowe was a lead man with Quality Control and a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.  He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Knight Lowe; two sons, Thomas Lowe, Jr., of Brighton and Michael Lowe of Clarksville, TN; two daughters, Sheryl Keene of Portageville, MO and Tonya Lowe Carstairs of Centerton, AR; two step-sons, William Elam of Houston, TX and Jimmy Elam of Burlison; one step-daughter, Velma Lowe of Brighton; two brothers, Marvin Lowe of Covington, KY and Roger Lowe of Munford; four sisters, Minnie Page of Munford, Martha Woefle of Arizona, Eva Mae Sherrill of Covington and Betty Sue Pittman of Munford; 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Alma Booker Lowe; one son, Carle Lee Lowe; one daughter, Diana Jo Lowe; one step-son, Douglas Harkness; two brothers, Melvin Lowe and Bobby Lowe and one grandchild, Shannon Keene.
