Thomas "Smiley" Jackson, Sr

Thomas "Smiley" Jackson, Sr., 62, of Mason, passed away on Thursday, September 26. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Wagner Jackson; his son, Thomas (Paulette) Jackson, Jr., of Mason; his daughter, Amanda (James) Simmons, of Gates; one sister, Mary Morman, of Raleigh; eight Grandchildren; and five Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Sylvia Jackson; two brothers, Melvin Jackson and Neeley Jackson; four sisters, Verna Jackson, Barbara Jones, Francis Veach, and Virginia Mitchell. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 29 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Mason. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 28 at the funeral home.
