Thomas Clifton “Bud” Jackson, age 91, of Lebanon, Tennessee, passed away at home on Thursday, January 6, 2022, when God called him home. Mr. Jackson was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served during the Korean War. From the time he was old enough to drive, he worked as a truck driver, both as an owner/operator, and for trucking companies. Bud was known for being a cut-up, always laughing and making jokes, and will be missed terribly. He is survived by his lifelong friend and wife of almost 14 years, Lois Quinton Jackson; four children, Mike Jackson, Janet Prejean, Roy Wayne Jackson, Donnie Lynn Jackson; two step-children, Susan Holland and Debbie Burgess; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly; two sisters, Shirley Ann Neafus and Betty Roland, and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hellen Louise Jackson; his parents, Robert and Nannie Hester Jackson, and 10 siblings. Funeral services for Thomas “Bud” Jackson will be held on Tuesday, January 11th at the Covington Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1p.m., with the funeral to begin at 1 p.m.. Interment will follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Drummonds.
