Thomas “Bobo” Davis, 80, of Mason, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 4, 2024. The youngest of nine children born to parents Clarence and Margaret Bacon Davis, in Stanton, Tennessee, Thomas was a life-long farmer, and insurance agent for Davis Crop Insurance. He loved John Deere tractors, car shows, and the “art of the deal” as his family called it, with all the buying and selling he liked to do. Bobo was a very generous and giving person, never met a stranger and liked to keep everyone laughing with his cutting up and carrying on. He stayed on the road, driving all over the place. You never knew where you might see him next!
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Sarten Davis; three daughters, Christy (Joe) Hennelly, of Tampa, FL, Michelle Goza of Canton, MS, and Sandi Jacobs of Oxford, MS; one sister, Dorothy McKnight; seven grandchildren, Erin Crenna, Kelly Zapata, Joey Hennelly, Caela Jernigan, Cole Goza, Drew Goza, and Madison Jacobs; seven great-grandchildren, Lily Crenna, Rory Crenna, Beau Crenna, Luca Zapata, Juliana Zapata, Connor Hennelly, Emma Hennelly, and one on the way, Maggie Hayes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Margaret Bacon Davis, and seven siblings, Harold, Peggy, Winston, Russell, Rhetta, Mary, and Ann.
