Terry Lee Haley

September 4, 1962 — December 28, 2017

Terry Lee Haley, 55, of Broseley, MO, passed away on Thursday, December 28.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 31 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Bethuel Cemetery in Millington.  The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 30 at the funeral home.  Terry was born in Memphis and at the age of 18 months, he moved to Frederick, MD and lived there until the age of 5 when he moved to Poplar Bluff, MO where he continued to live with his mother and step-father, Floyd D. Hedrick and his sister, Tammy until he married.  He was living in Broseley, MO when the tragic car accident took him home to be with Jesus and his parents in Heaven.  Terry was a high spirited man and loved doing a lot of things that did not always take him in the right direction, but he was a good man.  He always had funny things to say and the nieces and nephews thought he was very cool.  He loved to go flea marketing in search of antiques, guitars and a lot of other vintage items.  He loved his children and always wanted them to be the best that they could be.  He also loved all of his sisters and brothers dearly and enjoyed seeing them every chance he could.  He leaves his wife, Beverly Haley of Campbell, MO; one daughter, Sherry Brookshire of Drummonds; three sons, Anthony Summers of Poplar Bluff, MO, Dustin Haley and Terry Lee Haley, both of Campbell, MO;  two step sons, William Eugene Teal II of Sikeston, MO and Christopher James Teal of Mardell, MO; three sisters, Jean Stacy of Covington, Tammy Armstrong of Drummonds and Ruth Mangrum of Memphis; five brothers, Roy Haley of Munford, Jerry Haley of Drummonds, Frank Haley of Saltillo, TN, Eugene Haley of Charleston and Danny Haley of Munford; three grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends who he loved so dearly.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles "Bud" Haley and Martha Elizabeth Brookshire and one brother, Michael Haley.   Terry Lee Haley was loved by all and will surely be missed.  Until we meet again, Little Brother, RIP
