Steven Dewayne Campbell

Steven Campbell, 59, of Burlison, passed away on Wednesday, March 2. He is survived by six children, Subrinia (Rickey) Williams, Bridgette Taylor, Steven Bailey, Cody Bailey, Malory Campbell, and Brandy (Caston) Slade; grandchildren, Halie Grooms, Brandon Hutcherson, Jr., Elexis Taylor, Honnoll Taylor, Jr., Gage Taylor, Violet Bailey, Eliza Slade, Delilah Bailey, with three on the way, Saylor Spivey, Ellie Hollingsworth and Baby Slade; four siblings, Ava Latch, Michael Campbell, David Campbell, Rickey Campbell; his father, Tommy Campbell and host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Claudia Ann Gatlin Campbell. A loving father and grandfather, he was one of the best carpenters and mechanics around. He loved to hunt and fish, was a master of all trades and worked all his life. He believed in and loved God! He was God-fearing and was loved by so many, especially his children and grandchildren. Cremation services are under the direction of Covington Funeral Home with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
