Sonia Jones

Sonia Jones, 89, of Brighton, passed away on Tuesday, March 13.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 17 at the Salem A. R. P. Church in Atoka where she was a member with interment to follow in the Salem A. R. P.  Cemetery.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church.  Mrs. Jones was artistically inclined – she danced, sang opera and taught herself to china paint which she excelled at.  In addition, she was an avid antique collector and held vast knowledge on antiques.  She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Ray Jones; one son, Raymond Lee Jones of Drummonds; two daughters, Shelia Jones of Denver, CO and Linda (Allen) Hoffer of Grand Island, NE; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Salem A. R. P. Church.
