Shirley Maxwell Billings

Shirley Maxwell Billings, 72, of Burlison, passed away on Wednesday, April 24.  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 27 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in R. H. Munford Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, April 26 at the funeral home. Ms. Billings was a retired employee of Charms and a member of the Garland Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Ashley Billings; two daughters, Deborah (Tim) Baker of Burlison and Donna (Greg) Giles of Lewisburg, TN; three sisters, Virginia (Terrell) Wilson of Burlison, Louise (Ralph) Johnson of Bartlett and Joyce (Mickey) Martin of Burlison; two brothers, J. B. (Barbara) Maxwell of Bartlett and Edward (Shirley) Maxwell of Alexandria, VA; three grandchildren, Laura (Jason) Ridinger,  Andrew Giles and Sam Baker and one expectant great grandson, Grayson Ridinger.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Blanche Maxwell; three sisters, Mary Ann Boling, Maxine Bradshaw and Amy Sue Kidd and three brothers, Cleo Maxwell, Jerry Maxwell and Richard Maxwell.  The family requests that memorials be made to the Garland Baptist Church Building Fund.
