Brooks “Sheryl” Lovett, age 44, of Nashville, formerly of Covington, TN, passed away on April 23, 2022. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lona Ree Parsons Simpson, Thomas Dale Lovett, Doris Evelyn Mashburn Fletcher, Louis Fletcher, Jr. She leaves behind two daughters, Breanna (Michael) Plunk of Bethel Springs, and Megan Hunt of Grenada, MS; her father, Darryl (Jeanette) Lovette of Bethel Springs; her mother, Brenda Fletcher of Covington; one sister, Shawn (Mike) Lovett Dillard of Brighton; one brother, Trevor (Amy) Lovett of Madison; three grandchildren, Dayla Gean-Fuller, Brantlee Gean, and Eleanor “Ellie” Gean; one niece, Abigail Washington; two nephews, Hunter Catt and Ethan Watkins, and numerous other friends and family members. Sheryl enjoyed music, fishing, shooting pool, and being around family and friends. Her favorite color was pink, and she loved butterflies. The next time you see a butterfly flutter by, take a brief moment and think of Ms. Sheryl. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 21, at the Covington Funeral Home chapel from 2pm until 4pm.
