Sheila Adcox

Sheila Adcox, 68, of Brighton, passed away on Monday, May 30 at her home in Brighton. Ms. Adcox was a retired retail clerk with J. C. Penny, having worked there for over 30 years. She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Fulmer of Brighton; two grandchildren, Holly Johnson of Covington and Thomas Fulmer of Brighton; one great-grandchild, Liam Lohnes; three brothers, Chris (Becky) Fortner of Brighton, Perry (Brenda) Fortner of Drummonds and Patrick Fortner of Covington and two sisters, Peewee Simons of Covington and Rita (Eddie) Anderson of Brighton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Patty Gray Fortner and one son, Wade Adcox. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Covington Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
