Sharon Yates

Sharon Kay Yates, 73, of Covington, passed away on Sunday, January 26.  She is survived by her husband, Jimmy D. Yates; one son, Rowdy (Sabena) Yates of Greers Ferry, AR; two daughters, Angie Pinner of Covington, and Amber (Vassily) Samoussev of Atoka; one brother, Phillip Moore of Little Rock, AR; one sister, Jeanie Wages of Little Rock, AR; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, L. T. and Lillian Jenkins Moore.  She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, and her family considered her a domestic goddess.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Walton Cemetery in Covington, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, at the funeral home.
