Sara Smith

Sara Smith, 82, of Millington, passed away on Saturday, April 28.  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m on Tuesday, May 1 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, April 30 at the funeral home.  She was a retired cafeteria worker for Sears.  She is survived by three daughters, Ann Smith of Memphis, Debbie K. Savor of Middleburg, FL and Jewel M. Bissen of Memphis; one brother, Gene Mashburn of Munford; four grandchildren, Stacey Savor, Kathrine Tyree, Sarah Bissen and Jared Bissen and two great grandchildren, Samantha Tyree and Finn Tyree.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Ermon Reese Smith; one daughter, Teresa J. Smith; one sister, Mary Talafora and three brothers, Malcom Mashburn, William Mashburn and George Mashburn.
