Samuel Justus Pearl, 22, of Munford, went to be with the Lord on March 27, 2021. Samuel was a delivery driver for Domino’s Pizza in Covington and a member of Brighton Baptist Church. He was a 2018 graduate of Munford High School and had applied for and was looking forward to attending TCAT in the fall for welding. Samuel is survived by his parents, Scott and Donna Pearl of Munford; two brothers, Matthew Pearl of Brighton (Gracie Flanagan of Covington, soon to be sister-in-law) and Nathan Pearl of Munford; a sister, Anna Grace Pearl of Munford (brother-in-love, Ben Byrd of Munford); his grandparents, Wayne and Ann Brown of Bolivar, Bill and Glenda Irvin of Millington; a great-grandmother, Mildred Shields of Bolivar; five aunts and uncles, Tammy and Jerry Glenn Clifft of Jackson, Dickie and Tammy Spargo of Gastonia, NC, Brent and Pam Parr of Owensboro, KY, Patty Vincent of Atoka, and Todd and Christie Cook of Knoxville, TN; 17 cousins, Megan (Justin) Meredith, Sarah (Chris) Cantrell, Logan Parr, Katie, Hannah, and Noah Spargo, Grayson Vincent, Caleb, Ethan, Connor and Sawyer Cook, Cassidy and Karley Clifft, Lane Brown, Lauren (Corbin)Kee, Russ and Olivia Lawrence; six “great” cousins, Jack Travers, Carter Lane and Millie Kate Duck, Knox Everett Ray, Casen Max Kee and Charlotte Cantrell; a great aunt and uncle, Lisa and John Lawrence of Memphis, and a host of other family, church family and dear friends too numerous to name. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Christopher Brown; great grandfather, Archie Hubert Shields; great grandmother, Beulah Brown; and great grandparents, Roy and Gladys Irvin, Elbert and Lula Howell and Raymond and Bertha Cothren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 3 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Morrison’s Memorial Cemetery in Brighton. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, April 2 at the funeral home.
