Ruby Russell

Ruby Russell, 87, of Covington, passed away on Monday, January 29.  Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, February 1 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.  A homemaker, she is survived by three daughters, Frances Diane Poole of Covington, Patricia Lynn Lightfoot of Brighton and Shirley Haynes of Covington; one son, Leslie Waddell Russell of Covington; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, L. W. Russell, one daughter, Mary Jane McCulley and her parents, Ernest and Marion Smith McKnight.
