Royce W. Dawson

Royce W. Dawson, 91, passed away on Sunday, April 28.  Mr. Dawson was a retired auto body technician.  

Royce was a U. S. Army veteran who served our country with honor.  An avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish in his free time.  He will be greatly missed.  

He is survived by two children, Patsy Hatfield and Darlene (John) Long; eight grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Mildred Louise Dawson; one son, Michael (Cindy) Dawson and three siblings, Lawrence Dawson, Wayne Dawson and Jean Smith.

Cremation services are under the direction of Covington Funeral Home. Services will be private.
