Roy Stringfellow, 83, of Atoka, passed away on Monday, November 13. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 18 at the First Baptist Church of Atoka where he was a member with interment to follow in Helen Crigger Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, November 17 at the funeral home and again one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Mr. Stringfellow was a retired homebuilder and a U. S. Army Veteran. He is survived by four daughters, Tammy Stringfellow (Ernest) Gray of Atoka, Darlene Stringfellow (Tim) Wheeler of Atoka, Phyllis Stringfellow (Randy) Roe of Munford and Sharron Coleman (Leo) Allred of Brighton; three sons, Roy (Crystal) Stringfellow, II of Brighton, Glenn (Judy) Stringfellow of Atoka and William L. (Cheryl) Jordan of Burr Ridge, IL; one brother, Otis "Jimmy" Stringfellow of Brighton; one sister, Mary Stringfellow Gross of Brighton and numerous grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlyn Palmer Stringfellow; his parents, Perkins Oneal and Annie Stringfellow and one son, Garrel Dewayne Jordan.
