Roy Booth, 80, of Sardis, MS, passed away on Monday, December 24. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 28 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Indian Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Booth was a retired millwright with International Harvester and a U. S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Booth; two sons, Roy (Janet) Booth, Jr., of Hernando and Wayne Darling of Memphis; one daughter, Twylah Booth of Brighton; one sister, Shirley Diane Paisley of Mississippi and six grandchildren, Harley Nicole Milka, Davidson Andrew Mittag, Aiden Kole Booth, Brennen Taylor Booth, Preston Chandler Darling and Spencer Christian Darling. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Elmer and Ella Lorene Paul Booth and two sisters, Peggy Jo Warren and Betty Page.
