Ross Collier, 53, of Atoka, passed away on Monday, January 29 in Memphis.  He was a supervisor/contractor with Urban Property Management.

Ross was a good, hard working man.  He was known to run late getting home as he would be helping someone else before going home to his family.  He loved raising his children and spending time with his family.  He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and boating with floating down the Spring River in Arkansas being one of his favorite pastimes. 

He is survived by his wife, Christi Collier; one step-daughter, Jessie Messer (Scotty Aitken) of Munford; one step-son, Hunter Messer of Ripley; one step-grandson, Brantley Aitken of Munford; two sisters, Ashley Dyan Collier and Michelle Lynn Collier, both of Memphis; two nieces, Leighann Nicole Jones and Alyssa Renee Lambert, both of Memphis; one aunt, Marti (Tom) Taff of Colleyville, TX; one uncle, Samuel Mitchell of Memphis, and numerous great nieces, great nephews and cousins.  

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 9 at the Covington Funeral Home with interment to follow in Walton Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 8 at the funeral home.
