Rose Monette Whitson

Rose Monette Whitson, 81, of Covington, passed away on Saturday, August 11.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 13 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Walton Cemetery.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.  She was a retired nursing assistant and a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.  She is survived by one daughter, Linda Clements of Covington; one son, Steve Montgomery of Covington; two sisters, Martha Hulse of Kennett, MO and Carol Barron of Osceola, AR; three brothers, Danny Fleming, Paul Fleming and James Fleming, all of Covington; five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
