Robert Wayne Endress

Robert Wayne Endress of Duncan, Oklahoma passed suddenly in Tennessee on March 19, 2023 at the age of 63. Wayne was born July 1, 1959 to James Robert Endress and Dorothy Box Endress in Memphis. He attended Raleigh Egypt High School and worked at Family Dollar Distribution in Duncan, OK where he retired from on July 19, 2017. In 1983, he met Sherri Howard and they were married on February 10, 1984. Wayne and Sherri have five children: Michael Wayne Endress, Ashley Davis (Rocky), Timothy Lee Endress (Stacy), Joey Endress (Elizabeth) and Alisha Endress (James). They also have eleven grandchildren: Helen (Nick), Dominic Wayne, Cayden, Caleb, Junior, Mackenzie, Zoey, Pyper, Stormy, Howie, and Nova who all loved their Papaw and one great grandson, Gabriel. He is survived by siblings James Gordon Endress, Wanda Endress Trieschman (Thomas), Shell Cook, and Shawn Cook (Tracy). Wayne was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, James and Bronda Steen Endress; his mother and step-father, Dorothy Marie and Lonnie Cook and a brother, Karl Endress. Wayne loved his family - they were his whole world. He was a fun loving, good hearted man and enjoyed tinkering with cars with his lifelong best friend, Bob Brown. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends and family while sitting on the porch and watching his TV. Cremation services are under the direction of Covington Funeral Home and no services are planned at this time.
