Ricky Elrod

Ricky Ray Elrod, age 62, passed away at his home in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, in the early morning of Monday, July 25, 2022. Mr. Ricky was a general contractor. He is survived by his daughter, Amy Jundi; two sons, Steven Elrod and Devin Elrod; six grandchildren; his wife, Monica Pruitt Elrod; two sisters, Vickie Shaffer and Connie Bingham, and a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Thelma Hughey Elrod. Funeral Services are set for Saturday, July 30, 2022, at the Covington Funeral Home chapel. A visitation for friends and family will be held from 11am until 1pm, with the funeral service to follow. Interment will take place in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery following the funeral service.
