Richard Elam

Richard Elam, 51, of Ripley, passed away on Monday, August 20.  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 27 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Helen Crigger Cemetery in Munford.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.  Mr. Elam was a self-employed mechanic.  He is survived by his father and step-mother, Joseph and Kay Elam of Ripley; three daughters, Misty (Chris) Davis of Southaven, Heather (Roy Noojin) Elam and Amanda (Allen) Wright, both of Ripley; three step-sons, Dalton Reed, Kyle Reed and Gavin Reed, all of Mountain Home, AR; one brother, David (Christie) Elam of Covington; one sister, Tina (Frank) Matthews of Covington; one step-brother, Johnathan Lampley of Atoka and one step-sister, Melissa Milan of St. Louis, MO.
