Reaba Lavelle

Reaba Lavelle, 84, of Burlison, passed away on Wednesday, May 4 at her home. Ms. Lavelle was a former factory worker at Clopay and was a member of the Gilt Edge Church of Christ. She is survived by one daughter, Debbie Lavelle; four grandchildren, Reuben Miller, Ashley Bohannon, Mamie Brasfield and Amanda Decker; one sister, Jane Jackson and two brothers, Doug Rogers and Jerry Wayne Rogers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Ruby Rogers; her husband, Richard Lavelle and one son, Rickey Charles Lavelle. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 7 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until service time at 2 on Saturday at the funeral home. Ms. Reaba was a wonderful mother and caretaker and everyone loved her.
