Paulette Malone

Mary Paulette Malone, age 80, of Munford, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Saint Francis Hospital – Bartlett, surrounded by her loving family.

She was a homemaker, caregiver, and beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. The love and dedication she had for and shared with her family was immense. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, making dolls, and was a talented decorator and cook. Ms. Paulette was bold, feisty, and full of life.  She had quite the lucky streak too, and playing cards with her was sure to be a riot!  Somehow, she managed to collect all the “Wild” cards, and rarely lost a game. 

Ms. Paulette is survived by her husband whom she loved faithfully for 62 years, Robert “Bobby” Malone; her daughter and son-in-law, Timmie and Chuck Wiginton; her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Terri Malone; her daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Adam Kelley; her grandchildren, Jessica, Lauren, Chance and Alisa, Danielle, Jacob, Storm, and Alexis and Andrew; her great-grandchildren, Carson, Easton, and Ella, and six brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and sisters, and her parents, Paul and Mary Delashmit Cullum.

Services for Ms.  Malone will be held at 1pm on Tuesday May 21 at Covington Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery in Covington.  Brother Billy Pruitt of Millington First Baptist Church will officiate the service.  Visitation for friends and family will be held two hours prior to service time in the chapel.
