Paul Wallace, 61, of Covington, passed away on Tuesday, October 4 at his home. Mr. Wallace was a graduate of Southwest Community College where he received an Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering and afterwards worked at J L Case in Southaven for five years and Valero Petroleum, where he retired after 25 years. He was a member of the Tipton Masonic Lodge, where he was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite and a Shriner. He is survived by his father, Bill Wallace of Covington; two sisters, Debbie (Bud) Neal of Brighton and Sandy (Mark) Burton of Nashville; much adored nieces and nephews, Laura (Neil) Thornton of Covington, Brittany (Alan) Jackson of Atoka, Anna (Geoffrey) Burton-Burgess of Louisville, KY and Quinn Burton of Nashville; great nieces and nephews, Trent Thornton, Connor Thornton, Lana Jackson and Knox Jackson and his caregiver and dear friend, Debra Adams and her family of Covington. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Wallace Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 8 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Clopton Cemetery in Brighton. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Friends may sign an online guestbook at www.covington funeralhome.com. The family request that memorials be made to the Lewy Body Demential Association at LBDA.org or the Clopton Cemetery Fund.
