Paul Wayne Roberts

Paul Wayne Roberts, 77, of Atoka, passed away on Friday, August 2 at his home surrounded by his family. 

Paul was a retired law enforcement officer, having served with the Anne Arundel County, Maryland Police Department for over 30 years, with most of his service as a detective.  In addition to his law enforcement career, he was a veteran of the United States Army.

A lifelong sportsman, he loved hunting and fishing as was an avid bowler.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jan Roberts; one son, Christopher Roberts (Loucinda Norris) of Cumberland, MD; one daughter, Shannon (Charles) Carter of Atoka; four grandchildren, Amanda (Jeff) Lamer of Covington, Joshua (Abigail) Roberts of Cumberland, MD, Brandon Carter of Atoka and Bradley Carter of Atoka; one great grandson, Knox Roberts of Cumberland, MD and one brother, Travis (Faye) Roberts of Port St. Lucie, FL.

Cremation services are under the direction of Covington Funeral  Home with no services planned at this time.
