Patricia Ann Patton

Patricia Harrison Patton, age 79, passed away at her home in Brighton on Sunday, January 14, 2024.  She was a homemaker, and loved to garden and cook homemade meals.  She enjoyed line dancing to country western music at the Strand Theater in Millington with her husband, spending time with her family, and playing Yahtzee and word search puzzles in her spare time.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be dearly missed.

Ms. Patricia is survived by one son, Jim (Angie) Patton; one daughter, Pamela Orman; four sisters, Barbara Cooksey, Sherry Kaylor, Carol Abshire, and Debbie White; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "EV" Patton, her father, Thomas Marion Harrison and her mother, Rebecca LeQueux.

Services for Ms. Patricia Patton will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024 at 2pm in the chapel at Covington Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery.  A visitation for family and friends will begin at 12 noon until service time.  Reverend Michael Blaylock of Grace Baptist Church will officiate the services, and Jim Patton, Blake Patton, Presley Orman, Roy Kaylor, Jeremy Orman, and Tommy Newman will be serving at pallbearers.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
