Pam Tankersley, 64, of Mason, passed away on Sunday, May 19. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 23 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22 at the funeral home. Ms. Tankersley was a graduate of Trezevant High School and a retired para-legal with attorney Richard S. Taube. Ms. Tankersley is survived by two daughters, Christy Climer May of Memphis and Amber Climer Brady of Arlington; one sister, Terry Lynn Tankersley Brooks of Dyersburg; five grandchildren, Austin Blake McNair, Breanna Nicole Hall, Zakry Hahn May, Aaliyah Danielle Brady and Savannah Dawn Brady; two step-grandchildren, Addison Millican and McKenzie Burns and one great grandchild, Bentley Dean McNair on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, William George “Joe” and Faye Smith Tankersley. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital or the Alzheimer’s Association.
