Ora Mae Rogers, 88, of Covington, passed away on Thursday, April 11 at Baptist Hospital Tipton. She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by three daughters, Debbie O'Brien, Sherry Rogers and Melissa Montgomery, all of Covington; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Cora Ray; her husband, Ernest Alton Rogers; two sons, Jeffrey Glenn Rogers and Alton Dale Rogers; one granddaughter, Jamie Rogers and one great-great grandson, Demetrius O'Brien.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 15 at Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at Covington Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
