Opal Marie Glimp

Opal Marie Glimp, 84, of Ripley, passed away on Monday, December 4 at her home.  Ms. Glimp was a homemaker. 

She is survived by one son, Tim (Cindy) Glimp; one daughter, Penny (Joe Harper) Abney; five grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jeff) Snow, Christopher (Amanda) Craft, Alisha (Jimmy) Smith, Timothy (Jenny) Glimp, II and Brian (Timmi) Glimp and thirteen great grandchildren, Victoria, Spencer, James Michael, Hunter, Jacob, Brooklyn, Lanae, Logan, Jimmy, Charlee, Timothy III, Lincoln and Jax.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William Glimp; one daughter, Clarice Craft; one great grandchild, Angel Lee Medus; her parents, Alfred and Elizabeth Conrad; two brothers, Thomas Conrad and Alfred Rhea Conrad and one sister, Wanda Brassfield. 

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.  on Thursday, December 7 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Ripley Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
