Norma Jean Cooper, 64, of Mason, passed away on Saturday, November 7. Ms. Cooper was retired from Methodist Hospital after 15 years. She is survived by her husband, William Cooper; one daughter, Marie Cooper Armstrong of Covington; two sons, James Cooper of Mason and William “Brian” Cooper (Candice) of Munford; one brother, Bill Perry of Dyersburg; one sister-in-law, Tonia Cooper Mullen of Munford; one brother in law, Charles McDowell of Ringgold, GA; eight grandchildren, Logan Issiac Cooper, William Chandler Cooper, Chloe Cooper, Bailey Cooper, Jacqulin Wright, Alexus Wright, Joseph Wright and Justin Gibson and one great grandchild, Ramona Marie McCaskill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Offalee and Thomas James Perry; one grandson, Robert “Lee” Armstrong and one son in law, Robert Allen Armstrong Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 10 at the Covington Funeral Home with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, November 9 at the funeral home.
