Nell Zenar

Nell Zenar, 88, of Covington, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023 at her home. Ms. Zenar was a retired sales consultant with Merle Norman Cosmetics, worked at S&R manufacturing and was a member of the Clopton United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She is survived by one daughter, Debbie (Rick) Bringle of Covington; one son, Kenneth Baskin of McKenzie, TN; two step-sons, Jim (Trish) Zenar and Murray Zenar, Jr.; one sister, Jean (Buford) Salmon of Birmingham, AL; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents. Ruben and Lillian Flynn; her husbands, Herbert Baskin and Murray Zenar and two sisters, Hazel Flynn and Evelyn Bogue. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 6 at the Clopton United Methodist Church with interment to follow in Salem Cemetery in Atoka. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
