Nancy Lind

Nancy Lind, 77, of Brighton, passed away on Friday, February 21. Ms. Lind was a retired office manager with Baptist Hospital Tipton over the Physical Therapy department, was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and served the Catholic Diocese of Memphis as Director of Religious Education for 18 years . She is survived by her husband, Leonard Lind; two sons, Chad Lind of Houston, TX and Jason (Kimberly) Lind of Atoka; one daughter, Jeannie (Spence) Cousar of Atoka; five sisters, Rose Ann Williams, Carol Jean Sabol, Margaret Louise Hjelt, Jacqueline Mary Fox and Kathryn Ann Medina and six grandchildren, Lauren Lind, Bruner Lind, Austin Cousar, Blake Cousar, Emily Lind and Joseph Lind. A funeral mass will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 7 at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with a wake to be held two hours prior to the mass at the church. Interment will follow in Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to either the American Heart Association or the Friends of the Poor at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
