Nancy Kinney

Nancy Kinney, 82, of Covington, passed away on Monday, October 7.  Ms. Kinney was a homemaker and a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.  She is survived by her husband, Edward Odell Kinney; one daughter, Carol (Fletch) Delashmit of Covington; one son, Michael (Cathy) Kinney of Covington; three sisters, Rachel Durham of Ripley, Joyce Walton of Memphis and Doris Roach of Covington and five grandchildren, Carson Walton, Kendal Walton, Annabelle Kinney, Kacy Maxwell and Isabella Romero.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Mary Bringle Walton; one son, Brian Walton; two sisters, Becky Smith and Mary Walton and three brothers, Gene Walton, James Sydney Walton and William Lloyd Walton.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 10 at the Liberty Baptist Church with interment to follow in Indian Creek Cemetery in Brighton.  The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9 at the Covington Funeral Home and one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Thursday. The family requests that memorials be made to either the Liberty Baptist Church or the Memphis Union Mission.
