Nadine R. Jones

Nadine R. Jones, 79, of Brighton passed away on Saturday October 10. Nadine was born March 11, 1941, the 10th child of Thomas Cleo and Emily Virginia Baumgardner in Wurtland, Kentucky. She was a graduate of Union College, Murray State and the University of Memphis with a masters degree in elementary education and elementary counseling. She was a member of the Clopton United Methodist Church. She leaves her husband of 58 years, John A. Jones; her daughter, Diana Maness (Joey) of Bartlett; one brother, Thomas C. Baumgardner (Jean) of Wurtland, KY; one sister, Karen Crum (David) of Greenup, KY; three grandchildren, Jonathan Van Eaton (Jenny) of Land of Lakes, FL, and Timothy Van Eaton (Ashley) and Emily Rose Van Eaton both of Bartlett. She is preceded in death by her parents; her son Gregory Mark Jones; six sisters and two brothers, and a dear friend Ruby Harman. The family will have a private graveside service at the Clopton Cemetery. The family would like to thank the people at Avalon Hospice for the superb care and support they gave to Nadine and the rest of the family.
